History Posthotel Valbella
The first Maiensässe were built on the top of the pass where the Posthotel Valbella stands as early as the 17th century. First a guesthouse, then a post hotel, the building was completely renovated in 1964. The current owner, Luzius Bergamin, has carried out extensive renovations to the rooms, wellness oasis and restaurants.
Sustainability at the Posthotel
Sustainability is achieved when ecology, economy and social issues are in harmony. Our actions follow this goal. Purchasing food in the region ensures freshness, quality and short transportation routes, which helps to reduce CO2 emissions. In housekeeping, we use environmentally friendly products.
